STATE OF THE VISION

This page is a ongoing update of the unfolding vision as the Lord provides, in chronological order.

Anyone who has been walking with the Lord for awhile knows that God does things in His own time.  Sometimes it takes a lot of patience and faith and other times He moves faster than we expected.

So far He has moved rather rapidly and it has been a real challenge at times keeping up with implementing the vision.

Here’s what has been done so far:

January 2006 – The Lord begins to reveal the concept of this place to my (David Gillian) heart.

Early March 2006 – I began sharing the vision with my wife, Rosemary.

March, April and May 2006 – We prayed and talked about the vision and pledge our all to doing this work the Lord has called us to do.

June 1 through Mid August, 2006 – We searched for the property that God would make available to locate the camp. Around the middle of August He led us back to the very first property He had us look at and we signed an earnest money contract to buy 16.5 acres near Stockdale, Texas.

September 7, 2006 – BBAC was officially filed with the Secretary of State of the State of Texas as a non-profit corporation.

Late September, 2006 – Work begin on BBAC’s form 1023 Application for Tax Exempt Status with the IRS.

November 7, 2006 – BBAC held its first corporate board meeting, electing its Board of Directors and adopting its bylaws.

December 29, 2006 – BBAC closed on the 16.5 acre property near Stockdale, Texas which will be the future location of its headquarters and camp facilities.

January 15, 2007 - The New Year kicked off with a bang as we received the donation of 2 buildings and 3 horses.
