Riding a horse is great fun and there is no more majestic creature than the horse. From our stable of gentle horses, our campers will be treated to a fun horseback ride on our 4,000 foot long trail ride through our beautifully wooded campus.

Known Biblically for their use in warfare, horses were considered essential in winning on the battle field in ancient times.

But God warned his kings of the Old Testament not to accumulate great numbers of horses (Deut. 17:16), lest they depend on the horses and not their God for victory in battle.

Spiritually and metaphorically speaking, we have many horses that can come between us and trusting God for our success in school, work, ministry, relation-ships and life in general. This adventure will focus our attention on these metaphorical horses of our time and encourage those participating to leave their lives in God’s hands and to develop an attitude of trust and obey.
